Got the PINK, Visa APPROVED!

If you've been following my blogs then you know how J and I love spending time to just be quiet and pray. We've prayed through the rough times but we've never forgotten to pray harder with gratitude when we are receiving blessings. The day before the interview, I only prayed for two things--a sound sleep and for calm nerves. And let me tell you that I was stress-free for the three and a half hours that I was at the US Embassy. I still believe that it was my responsibility to make my new friends calm down. Yes, I've met four other fiancées during my interview. As I’ve describe to J, we were one of the noisiest at the waiting area. Told him they were like fish out of the water that can’t stay still at their seats. They were so nervous that they can’t stop being paranoid. My job that day is to encourage them to stay positive. And at the end, we all got the pink slips. ;) With God's grace, a chapter closes with a happy ending and I wish that the new chapter will have an extraordinary beginning! PS: Be sure to check back as I’ll be posting another blog with A LOT more details about the interview. PSS: Excuse the crappy webcam pictures for the meantime. My Sony R1 camera has been sent for repairs due to an ill-fated accident. (Nahulog lang sa upuan actually! Hahahaha) And OMG another one, PSSS: [EDITED] Hello people, if you can check the upper right most corner of my blog you will now see a new email address I've made so that you can send me any personal messages. It's americandreamofapinay@gmail.com :) Also, I was able to make a new Facebook account and buttons will be in that corner too so that you can directly add that new account. As of the moment, I only have 1 friend. Poor me. :p Kisses, K :) Labels: approved interview, pink, pink slip, visa interview ![]() |
