I've always loved photoblogs. I feel like I'm more of a visual person than a writer. Sometimes though my brain loves to tell stories and thanks to Inquirer, one has been published already. So this blog will be a mix of both: things I see through my lens or letters I type down on my laptop. (: Best viewed using Google Chrome.
The Long Wait is Over

Finally! :)

It's my third day here in Orlando and so far it has been so fun! :) The travel from Manila to Japan was bearable. After the 12-hour flight to Detroit, I was on the immigrations line for 4 hours and missed my flight to Orlando. But since this is a common occurrence in US point of entries, Delta was able to book the next flight out to Orlando for me.

Got to Orlando at around 8:20 in the evening. It was raining on the Sunshine State and was really foggy and cold. My hand carry was so heavy but the tram helped me get from one point to the another. And just when I thought I was getting lost, I saw J on the middle of the waiting area along with her sister. The funny thing is, in my excitement, I grabbed her sister first and kissed her before J! :p But J could be really sweet, he handed me a bouquet of white roses with a hello kitty balloon.

There are a lot of advantages of having a Pinoy family welcoming you to the United States. One of which is that Arroz Caldo was waiting for me on the dining table just when I needed to have a warm meal because of the temperature. It might seem like a stranger's house but when J's mom grabbed me and gave me a big hug, I knew I was home. :)
